While I am a country singer on the side, I am a corporate recruiter in Marketing, Advertising and Graphics. Since I like to know the jobs of the people I place, I figured it would be a good idea to design my own website.
This is my first attempt ever. And believe it or not Mac enthusiasts, it was created completely on a PC using Corel Web.SiteBuilder and CorelDraw 8. Furthermore, I needed hardly any knowledge of HTML using these programs. While I am also a firm supporter in designing with Macs, I am very pleased at how easy these programs are to use.
I am proud to say that the site offers a wealth of information, pictures, chat room, guestbook and samples from my CD. So far I have only used about 3 meg. which is 10% of my allotted space (not including the RealAudio). When I am done, fans will be able to order merchandise from the site also. I just wanted to share my experience with you. I look forward to your comments.

Moonshadows Farm Virtual Library and Resource Center
Moonshadows mission is to create a one stop site where information of all types can be accessed by a varity of of different types of people. Not just the usual, but, hard to find and useful links that are sometimes over looked. There is lots of movement and color so accessing isn't quite so boring, I set music to only 1 page and allow the viewer to control it since musical tastes and moods vary. Moonshadows is about enjoing choices equally amoung ALL people, allowing the viewer to participate in what those choices are, and giving space to those who feel something isn't represented, but is needed. Sirgany's Gallery of Estates
This site was designed for a company that sells very expensive jewelry and other accessories. The store has kind of a hodge podge of things, and each page details a different type of product. The company, Sirgany's Gallery of Estates, wanted to attract wealthy customers, so I designed the site with a rich feel in mind. I believe that this site has a very simple navigation structure and elegantly displays the stores' merchandise (which is what the client wanted). Unfortunately, the information doesn't change too often and there aren't a lot of things that will bring a customer back to the site, but as I said before, I had little control over that. http://www.sirgany.com

Business site for EFC Systems
This is my company site that I write all the code for. My boss is into keeping things simple, but I feel like simple should not necessarily mean plain and boring. He has final say on EVERYTHING and sometimes that means I have to get rid of good code that works well and saves time because of his view of what it should be. It's his company, so I accept that. Wynonna Fan Club? 23,000 hits a day?
Wynonna wanted a web site that would bring her closer to her fans while projecting the image and ideals that she strives for. Wynonna is very friendly and approachable. She truly loves her fans and works hard to share her life with them. In designing the site IIMS focused on projecting that spirit. The content of the site shares this mission. Special attention was given to creating a visually stimulating interactive site that is easily accessible by anyone. An online survey acts as a way for viewers to vote on specific questions asked by Wynonna and see the tallied results of the pole in real time. An About Wynonna section includes a biography, continuously updated tour information, a photo album and news and updates. Music/Videos contains all of Wynonna's and The Judds' albums and all of Wynonna's videos with RealAudio and RealVideo clips. Wyonnona's Store is an e-commerce solution that allows viewers to choose from over 50 items, place them in a shopping cart and purchase them on-line. A special section of the Web site is dedicated to Wnonna's Fan Club. A Bulletin Board, Fan Club newsletters and special contests all take place on-line and can only be accessed by Fan Club members. The results have been excellent. Usage is over 23,000 hits per day, on-line store sales are strong and new memberships are being generated continuously. Font Designer Site...
Designed using mostly works from Photoshop, and Illustrator... not fully finished though it shows examples of my own fonts, in which I am very proud of. ( I have a question.... If I ever wanted to publish my fonts and sell them to font companies, how much royalties would I get from it and a basic standard cost into selling the font (of course not depending on length of time to design and create.) http://home.earthlink.net/~imgnart24/
