Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Hi...my name is Jessica and I am from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I just turned 18 and graduated from high school. I am really interested in graphic design and publishing. I was on yearbook staff for the past four years, so I know a little about desktop publishing and deadlines... This summer I am volunteering at Big Brothers and Sisters one day a week. I am designing their newsletters on Microsoft Publisher. Oh...I don't know how many people know this but I just learned that if you see something you like on any web page then all you have to do is right click and you can save the picture and use it on your own page. I am also interested in any internships available in a graphic design job. Thanks and feel free to look at my page: http://members.aol.com/jjjfishe/index.html

A new "Net Soap" Hi! My name is Leigh Thomas. I live in Columbia, SC. I'm a rising junior at Dreher High School, and I will be 16 come September 1st. For the past few months, I've been working on my homepage, which is going to be a netsoap when I'm done. Bear in mind that it is under construction though. Thanks! :) ~*L*~ http://members.aol.com/JsphnePttr/index.html Sent in by: Leigh Thomas

The Hideaway Hallo, Firstly I must thank the people at Design and Publishing for the great job they do, the freebies they provide, and the promotion of artists on the web. I sincerely appreciate all this fabulous 'stuff'... it keeps me up to date and prolific, especially in photoshop.
And of course I can never have Too Many Fonts!
I am a freelance and studio illustrator and graphic designer, my goal is to illustrate and design children's books, but in the meantime i'm making my beans doing catalogue work at a communications company. It's a bit hard-arsed, especially for me, I admire anyone who can find enjoyment in advertising... I can't wait to get out of it! Especially being 24 and underpaid due to lack of years of experience... I still kick ass at design though.
You can see just how MUCH I kick ass in my "Hideaway" on the web, click a Puffin to see my portfolio... In the meantime, I'm here, forever adoring penguins and painting make believe and whining as only artists can do... Thanks http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Gallery/2941 Sent in by: Catherine Garchinsky

I'm self- taught in graphics and have a flair for it. I have designed all of my own (7) pages and have done some for others. I'm at home a lot and would love to find work inthis field doing the same for some bucks! Some of my original & strange graphics can be viewed at: http://www.goodnet.com/~ee90436/webart.html
