FFF #1 : The 23rd Annual Fall Fonts Festival on Font & Typography, calligraphy, lettering

Welcome to the 23rd Annual Fall Fonts Festival in September of 2017! This year we're going to change and tweak our approach a bit to bring you more interesting tidbits on type, fonts use, calligraphy or hand lettering and the use of fonts and type in graphic design. Back 23 years ago the focus was on free, downloadable fonts! Today there are so many online, we'll be focusing more on fonts and typography in graphic design!

Investing in your color management is always a good investment -- particularly when you can see your color selections in print. During my DGEF Creative Layout Techniques seminars one of the most frequent questions from attendees was how do your get the print color to look like the screen color? That's always been one of the tough nuts to crack -- and my answer and solution to ALL those screen to print color woes was : See it in print. Period.
